Holiday Movies

Last night, I had fun playing with holiday movie titles and turning them into this little poem.
A big thank you to Jone for hosting this week's Poetry Friday.

Wishing you love and laughter this holiday season and a healthy, happy 2024!

  2. Haha, Linda. How cute is this? So fun! I hope your weather report proves wrong and this Christmas is The Most Wonderful Time of the Year and you get All (You) Want for Christmas--Jack Frost and Let it Snow.

Have a joy-filled holiday regardless of the weather!

    1. The forecaster says we only have a 20 % chance of snow so it doesn't look likely. We rarely have a white Christmas, but even a few snow flurries would be nice. : ) Have a wonderful holiday!

  4. Fantastic! You are so clever--all those movies packed into a poem that doesn't feel like that was the intent. This poem reads smooth...and the transition from feeling grumpy to grateful is perfect. Well done!

  11. Linda, I was with the family most of the day yesterday and started to read your fun poem late last night after I finished my blog. Reading it this morning again made me feel not harried by the to dos but grateful for the snuggly warmth of holiday prep at home. Thank you for the gift of just being in the moment.

  12. Merry Christmas! Loved your fun poem. We will have rain, not snow…. But plenty of friends and family, candles at church and littles opening presents… and Christmas movies, too!
