I noticed your wrote about balancing sadness and happiness on your blog. I had originally planned to write about the same thing but time got away from me. I think many of us are sharing the same emotions right now. xo
I got your book in the mail, Linda...thank you, it's beautiful! When I first opened it, the pages fell to this very poem! GREAT JOB on the book...I also noticed the girl on the cover is a leftie (and I have just come from Jama's leftie post). Are you a leftie too? xo
Linda, You poem is touching and true. I think it is important to recognize feelings such as sadness when we have them. I love the idea of your book, BTW, and it makes me wish I was still working with students! Thank you for sharing it. Carol from The Apples in My Orchard
This is a poem that could change the life of a reader who suddenly sees that they are not alone in these feelings of sadness that come out of the blue.
Oh Linda, I can so relate to your "Sadness" poem. You captured so much emotion in just a few words.
