Anthologies 301: Making Videos

I'm having a great time learning new skills in our Anthologies 301 class.  Our Zoom sessions are so much fun.  We share, we laugh, we learn!

Before last week, I had never made a video.  It looked complicated, but  Janet and Sylvia took us step-by-step through the process and gave lots tips along the way.

Here is my first video.  I am sorry it is so small. I couldn't figure out how to make it larger. That will be a challenge for another day.

I hope to make and share more images and videos in the weeks ahead.

A big thank you to Tricia at The Miss Rumphius Effect for hosting today.

Have a great weekend!

  3. Hi Linda,
I am so thrilled that you have created your video, you give me hope!! (I made it full screen by clicking on the box in the lower right next to the CC box.) My sister and mother adopted these red tabby kittens right after my dad died in 2005. One of the two is still alive. They think that they came from Katrina and NOLA. Lovely!!

  8. Great job. Made me feel warm and cuddly. No problem with the size of the video; I enlarged it to full screen on my desktop. :)

  11. Linda, congratulations on your sweet and beautiful video and poem! I love the photos you picked out or were some of those your own photos? I'm still working on mine. I love the music you paired with your video. Did you find the purring sound on Canva or did you record your own cat purring? My Tigress is sharing a seat with me and purring.

  14. I love the way you have jumped into the 301 courses and experimented with making graphics and videos, Linda. You are truly a lifelong learner. Next up: SWAG! I think it would be fun for you to put some of your poems on little "Poem in Your Pocket Day" cards, refrigerator magnets, and ANYTHING you want!!!
